The Hullcutter is the backbone of many Martian fleets and is built - to roughly the same design - in many different yards (hence the variation in design!).

The Hullcuter is a 'Screw Galley' powered by the labour of the extensive crew turning the twin propellers via a crankshaft running the length of the ship and routed through a large fly-wheel.

This is the second finished Hullcutter: it has a more rounded silhouette compared to the first ship, with less substantial rams but taller masts. Crew on deck are busy loading and firing guns: two Rogue guns a the front, two Heavy guns and a Lob gun in the centre and a Rod Gun to the rear. Their is a sniping marine in the Flying Bridge and the ship's Captain with the helmsman and ship's wheel on the lower Drag Bridge.
